Eryn Galen is a Clinical Hypnotherapy practice, based in Lilliput in Poole.
We provide hypnotherapy to stop smoking, for weight loss, pain control in childbirth, and for the treatment of stress, anxieties and phobias.
The Eryn Galen Hypnotherapy Practice is run by Alex Gorringe, a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Alex trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and has since trained to be a specialist in Hypnosis for Childbirth, using the Easi-birthing technique.
Alex is qualified as a Hypnotic Birthing Process Practitioner from the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.
Hypnosis for Childbirth Courses:
At Eryn Galen, we offer Hypnosis for Childbirth courses either on a one-to-one basis or in groups of up to four.
Our course consists of five classes, each lasting about 1.5 hours.
This course will prepare you for a birth for which you will feel totally calm, confident and in control, and will also give you self-hypnosis skills for life.

Hypnotherapy is an extremely effective treatment for weight loss.
We all know that losing weight should be as simple as eating less and exercising more, but for many of us, it is just not that simple.
We all have different reasons for eating more than our body needs and for struggling to lose weight.
At Eryn Galen, we treat each client as an individual, and start with a comprehensive analysis of your eating habits and history of weight gain and dieting.
We then create customised sessions aimed at tackling every issue and habit.
We also ensure that every client gains a good understanding of the sorts of foods they should be eating and why.
We include several books on nutrition and healthy eating in the cost of our sessions and we expect you to read them as homework.
At Eryn Galen, we don't let you just sit back and relax - though there is quite a lot of that involved too!
We expect a lot of you, and in return, we really can help you lose weight healthily and permanently.
